Phelps has been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder that is characterized by a loss of interest in eating and a failure to follow diet and exercise advice.
The Associated Press described the diagnosis in 2016: “When he returned from a break in training to eat a healthy diet, Phelps’ appetite started to go away and his energy levels started to drop.
He didn’t think he was eating, but he was.”
He also has severe depression, anxiety and anxiety disorders, as well as anxiety associated with his own experiences with an eating problem.
He is on medication for anxiety, depression and substance abuse, and has tried to curb his binge eating, according to The Associated Images.
Phelps’ mother, Heather, told the AP that the athlete had not been receiving the proper treatment.
“He has been taking his medication, and I know it is working,” she said.
“But when he goes to bed, he is not feeling better.”
Phelps’ family has raised more than $1.5 million to help him deal with his illness.
“Michael’s story is so incredibly inspiring and inspiring, and his story is one that millions of Americans can relate to,” Phelps said in a statement to ESPN.
“As a young athlete, I struggled with an illness that had little to do with me.
Now that he is on the right path, I know that the world can be more than a place where he can be loved and supported.
I am thankful for all that he has been through and the outpouring of support he has received from friends and family.”
Phelps has recently been helping other athletes in their recovery from eating disorders, according a report by the Associated Press.
He spoke to the Associated press in July, saying: “We need to look to what’s going on in the future to figure out how to take care of ourselves, and what to do if we need help.
We need to learn to live with ourselves.”
The Olympics in Sochi, Russia are the longest-running Olympic games in the history of the Games, and athletes and coaches from around the world are trying to bring the event to the next level.
“The Olympics are an Olympic sport, so it’s a very, very, long way from where I was, but they’re a fantastic place to live,” Phelps told the Associated Media in 2016.
“It’s been a challenge to go from one to the other, but I’m going to take it as a challenge.
The biggest challenge is to keep myself together, but to do so in a way that will keep me healthy and healthy for my teammates.”
He added: “I’m really looking forward to the Games and I hope to be part of something that will make an incredible impact.”
Phelps also shared his experience with a charity, The Athletes Fund.
He said that while he had been able to attend the games, he had not felt comfortable in his own skin.
“I was not comfortable with myself, not being myself,” he said.
Phelps went on to say that the games helped him recover from his mental health issues.
“The Olympics have given me the opportunity to do what I have always wanted to do, which is compete in a big event,” he told the ESPN.
The Olympian is currently on a training camp with a group of other athletes at a charity rehabilitation facility in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The camp was announced on July 8, and Phelps has not competed in the Games since.
The athlete’s recovery will be featured in the film “Atonement,” directed by Michael Cera.
Cera will also be working on a film about the life of the famous American football player, Michael Sam, and its cast includes Oprah Winfrey, Lena Dunham and John Cusack.
