Posted October 30, 2019 09:08:25A plane crash near the Adelaide airport has caused a major road closure and is delaying the return of all passengers to the airport.
The collision occurred at around 2:40am today at a landing strip in the north-west of the city, about a mile north of the Adelaide International Airport.
Police said they were working with the Federal Government’s Department of Transport to determine the cause of the crash.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash, and say no injuries were reported.
The airport is currently closed to the public while emergency services continue to work on the scene.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said the Australian government had offered assistance to the local community and local businesses.
