It has the second-highest rates of colorectal cancer and diabetes among the developed world, and the third-highest rate of colon cancer and pancreatic cancer.
The International Association of Colorectology has called for more research into the cause of colitis and constipation, and has called on the U.S. to provide greater funding to colorentry experts.
The IACD has said that constipation is a complex medical condition that affects a lot more people than the typical person thinks.
But it says that more research is needed to understand what causes the condition and what treatments can be effective.
