Health plans, which are one of the oldest industries in the country, are now selling plans to help pay for cancer treatment in the US, as part of a global push to expand their reach in the world’s second-largest economy.
According to new survey results by consultancy Gartner, the US is the biggest market for health care in the entire world and its reach is reaching more and more people.
More than 70 per cent of US residents say they would use a health plan in the next year if it were available in the United States, compared with 28 per cent in 2015.
Gartner also found that healthcare spending in the second-biggest economy in the developed world has tripled in the past three years, rising from $1.35 trillion to $1,849 billion.
The company said healthcare spending is now $3.4 trillion and the average American household spends $4,831 per year on healthcare, up 13 per cent on 2015.
In Europe, which has the second highest health care spending in Europe, only 10 per cent say they use a healthcare plan.
The US and Europe have been at loggerheads over health insurance since the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was passed in 2010.
Since then, US President Donald Trump has been working to dismantle the law, saying he would take away Americans’ health insurance if he becomes president.
More:The American Health Care Act, which was passed by the US Congress in 2010, aimed to provide coverage to millions of people with pre-existing conditions and expand access to prescription drugs.
But Trump’s administration has faced opposition from some Republican lawmakers and health insurance companies in Congress, who say the law is too costly and does not cover everyone.
Gentrification is a major problem in the area of healthcare in the USAGartners researchers found that a majority of US adults are still not fully covered by their insurance, with over half still paying out of pocket for their healthcare, and the healthcare industry has a lot of work to do to reach those people.GARTNER said the US healthcare industry was experiencing a resurgence in growth, with more than half of US workers not currently insured, while healthcare costs have increased in the first quarter of this year.
More : The average US worker is still paying more than $2,300 for their health insurance, and more than four in 10 people have an out-of-pocket expense of more than a grand, with the median household spending $24,500 per year.
Gardner also said that more than 85 per cent were not able to afford to purchase healthcare plans.
The survey found that health plans offered by health insurers were offering more services than they were offering in the year before.
Gastroenterology and hepatology are two of the most popular services offered by plans.
Gillmor, which is the UK’s leading gastroenterology insurer, offered more services to US consumers in the period to March, while Aetna said it was extending its offer to US customers.
The companies said their work would expand in the coming years to meet rising demand.
In a press release, Aetnan said the company would increase the number of providers offering care in its network of 1.5 million US patients.
“Our network is one of only five that offers high-quality, affordable health insurance,” it said.
“This is a great opportunity for all of our US customers to have access to a comprehensive healthcare service that is not only cost-effective, but is accessible to all.”
Aetna is also planning to open a new outpatient clinic in Washington DC and open another one in Philadelphia.
In addition, it said it would open more than 1,000 new health clinics across the US and Canada, and would hire thousands of additional healthcare professionals.
Gannett said it will add more than 50 new US and Canadian doctors to its workforce, adding that the company had a team of 20 people dedicated to recruiting, hiring and retaining the next generation of physicians.
Gantz said it is hiring 50 additional healthcare workers to meet its projected growth, adding to its existing healthcare workforce of 150,000.
It also said it had hired more than 500 new doctors, nursing home residents and medical technicians to support its expansion.
Gattins said it has added about 50 more doctors and health care workers to its global workforce.
The data suggests that the health care industry is on the move in the wake of the ACA, said Dr David Stavrakis, president of the American Medical Association.
It is also encouraging that this wave of growth is happening now, he added.
Dr Stavrakis said that if healthcare providers in the U.S. can continue to deliver the healthcare services that they provide today, they will be able to continue to attract new patients and retain existing patients.
Aetnan has been expanding its healthcare network in the region.
The firm said it plans to open two new clinics in Washington, DC and Philadelphia.
